„The History of The Berlin Government District until 1938“
The topic of this lecture is the history
of the old
Berlin Government District, which was located in the centre
of Berlin. Neubauer discusses the architecture of the old
Wilhelm Street, Wilhelm square, Voss Street and the
Ministerial Gardens. Only one tenth of the historic buildings
from this area still exist today. Neubauer uses a 3D animated
virtual model to demonstrate the historical context of these
remaining buildings. By comparing the present to the past
Neubauer lays a foundation for the future of the
old government district.
